Artist:
You deserve more
than just a memory… I have drawn and painted hundreds of portraits. I
understand your concerns about having a once-in-a-lifetime portrait painted
to preserve and capture cherished reminiscences. My specialties are detailed
watercolors, oils, drawings, mixed media and acrylics. Until recently I also
created painted works in ground glass medium for stained glass.
I bring a
lifetime commitment to fine art and I am dedicated to work with you to
create a lasting treasure to beautifully preserve your memories in
portraiture for generations to come.
Any setting or
location, together we will create and complete a portrait to capture the
moment … be it formal, casual, an interior setting or outdoors… of your
child, a family, a corporate portrait, wedding, beloved pet, home… or your
favorite landscape.
My gallery page
is divided into several sections from portraits, primarily in my preferred
medium watercolor, to graphite portraits and other subjects. Included is a
brief history on the several thousand year history of watercolor, the oldest
painting medium. ~
Bill Biggers
A Brief History
of Watercolors
The oldest painting medium… Chemically watercolors are
pigments made from ground minerals and dyed inert powder, held together
generally with gum arabic made from the acacia tree. Watercolors capture
luminosity and offer a range equal to and often exceeding that of other
mediums.
